About What Cobblers

A business started in the early 2000s

What Cobblers was originally opened in the early 2000s as Keith Acreman Services by none other than Keith Acreman who had previously gained experience working for a bespoke orthopaedic shoe manufacturer and Mister Minit.

He built up an excellent reputation over the years by word of mouth and eventually employed his cousin and adopted brother Simon as a counter assistant in 2008. Over the next 10 years, Simon worked for Keith Acreman Services and Timpson where he learned and refined his skills in shoe repair, key cutting and engraving. Throughout the late 2010s, Simon took on the day-to-day running of the shop and started to put his stamp on the shop

In March 2019, Keith left the business to focus on other projects and Simon became the sole owner of the newly renamed “What Cobblers”. With the same exacting standards and new high quality materials, What Cobblers is where the traditional and modern meet.

We now offer a collection and delivery service for shoe repair within a 15 mile radius of Salisbury. Email simon@whatcobblers.com or call 01722 411861 during our business hours to arrange a collection. Otherwise pop into our shop on Brown Street for key duplication, engraving or shoe care products.
